If you are as big of a fan of Bite Beauty as I am, you are probably on the edge of your seat to try their new Amuse Bouche lipsticks! I was lucky enough to get my hands on three new colors, and here are my thoughts:
Color
The color choices are amazing! There are over 200 different types of colors that live in the pink and red and purple range. The pigmentation is strong, just as you would expect from and Bite Beauty lip product.
I received the colors Beetroot, Pepper and Gazpacho. I feel like these are the three basic lipstick colors. I personally LOVE Beetroot, but I wear Pepper more often because it’s more of my lip color. Don’t worry if none of these colors appeal to you because you can find something on Sephora. They even have a flat black lippie!
They have fall, spring, summer and winter colors in this line, so I am so excited to purchase more!
Smell
The smell of these Amuse Bouche lippies is fantastic! I usually do not like a scented lipstick, but these are wonderful! They almost smell moisturizing.
But in actuality, they smell like lemonheads. I love the smell of lemon, and these are just so fantastic to apply!
Type
These are a satin finish. You can easy make them matte by adding a translucent powder, but I like the finish on it’s own.
They are super moisturizing. They are made with (from Sephora) a balanced blend of lip-quenching nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils that are essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. Made with 12 edible oils and triple milled pigments, this lipstick provides saturated lip color with weightless coverage and a citrus flavor made from fresh pressed fruit.
Anyway, they feel really comfortable on the lips!
Wear
These lippies wear longer than a usual moisturizing lipstick, but you still will need to reapply. I have no problem with this because I don’t like how long lasting lipsticks clump up on the lips. I would much rather reapply the product than have crumble lips.
Last Thoughts
Before using these, I had already thought Bite Beauty had some of the best lipsticks on the market. These moisturizing, highly pigmented goodies are no exception!
I used one of these guys in a recent tutorial!
I received these products for reviewing purposes on Influenster. Click here to find out more.
